On Thursday, Facebook launched Facebook Creator, a new app for video creators that will help them build and manage their communities.
Creators are building a community around their passion by sharing their videos worldwide on Facebook. Creators can connect with more than two billion potential fans and co-workers through Facebook, talk to their fans via Live and monetize with products like branded content. This new Facebook Creator app will make the things like creating original videos, live-talks, and connecting to the community on Facebook easier.
CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that “time well spent” through video is Facebook’s new objective.
The creator apps have four parts, the first one is Live Creative Kit. Users can add intros, outros and custom emoji reactions to their live videos. There are several graph frames that users can use to add a pretty border to their live broadcasts.
The second feature of this app is that it was designed with a unified inbox. Facebook is putting all comments and messages from creators in a single inbox with Creator app instead of. So you will not need jump on Messenger, Facebook, and Instagram.
Creator provides access to Facebook’s Camera and Stories sharing and you can even cross-post to Instagram and Twitter.
Facebook said during the launch event that they will work collaboratively with creators to deliver a better experience on Facebook.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said, “when done well, video brings us closer together … We want the time people spend on Facebook to encourage meaningful social interactions, so we’re going to focus our products on all the ways to build a community around the video that people share and watch.”
