Elon Musk Proposes Plans of World Travel by Rocket on the Earth

Elon Musk, SpaceX CEO revealed plans to travel to the Moon and Mars at a space industry conference on Sept 29. The company is developing a huge spacecraft to colonize Mars. Musk revealed his idea that passengers can take “most long-distance trips” in just 30 minutes, and travel “anywhere on Earth in under an hour” and costing will be same as an economy airline ticket.

Musk said at a conference that if a ship is capable of traveling to the moon and mars then it can be also used for high-speed transport on Earth at home.

Musk revealed using company’s upcoming mega-rocket for launching passengers from New York to Shanghai in 39 minutes flat.

Musk said, “The great thing about going to space is there’s no friction, so once you are out of the atmosphere… it will be smooth as silk, there is no weather. “He also predicted that most journeys on the Earth won’t take more than 30 minutes.

Musk said at the end of the presentation that company is planning to land cargo ships on Mars in 2022 and starting by 2024. The company is developing a rocketship for missions called Big Falcon Rocket and it could be used as transportation of people from city to city on the planet.

Musk is also planning to build an underground “hyperloop” network that can commute between New York and Washington which is around 230 miles apart, in 29 minutes.
