Today HMD Global launched the Nokia 2 smartphone which acts as the entry point to Nokia’s Android smartphone line-up. The Nokia 2 slots in below the Nokia 3 and will retail for €99. The smartphone is for those users who are looking to switch from feature phones.
The HMD said that the little phone is capable of delivering two days of battery life with a massive battery. The device will come with a metal mid-frame, and a 5-inch HD display which uses less power and a pure and unfettered build of stock Android without any unneeded gimmicks, or bloat.
According to HMD Global’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas, the phone will deliver four major aspects that will fit in the budget smartphone- great battery life, 4G connectivity, good cameras, and a good display. The company also claimed that they are focusing on user experience. The manufacturer has a lot of experience in this felid and knows the customers’ interests.
Nokia 2 comes with a gigabyte of RAM, expandable 8GB of internal storage, the Snapdragon 212 processor and 4G VoLTE support.
The company stated that Nokia 2 will ship with Android Nougat and Android 8.0 update is coming soon. The pretty design and improved quality raised the rank of Nokia 2 at the top among this category.
Customers will have three color options in the Nokia 2: Pewter/Black, Pewter/White, and Copper/Black. The phone will be available to purchase in the next month in some regions.
